Simple difference is that Nature is creator and science is folower. whatever advancement in science may occur the nature can't be surpassed. Science only justifies the happenings or creation of nature by providing an approximate reason and whenever there reason fails they marked the phenomenon to be exceptions.
The need is to accept the nature and explore it silently without disturbing its balance. As nature has its laws it wil take its corrective measures on its own.

If the Ozone hole is being repaired is a true the reason for its repair cannot be only our corrective measures. As we all know the population is growing and so is growing the misuse of natural resources. may be its rate have decreased a little.
So friends there is no reason to panic for natural balance but we have to wise enough to use the resources and not abuse it.
